    Mein Jahr 2008 - my year 2008

    Zum Ende eines Jahres sieht man  immer viele Bilder über das abgelaufene Jahr mit den wichtigsten Ereignissen
    in diesem Jahr. Hier nun mein Jahr 2008.
    At the end of a year we see a lot of pictures about this year with the most important events in this year. Here is my 2008:
     
    Der wichtigste Tag, the most important day: 14.03.2008. Wien, Vienna
    Meine Freundin und ich sehen uns das 1. Mal.
    My girlfriend and me met the first time.
     
     
     
     
    Die schönste Reise, the best travel, Rom(e)
     
     
    Die wichtigste Entscheidung, the most important decision. 01.08.2008.
    Geli zieht um nach Köln.
    Geli moves to Cologne.
     
     
     
     
    Das schönste Lied, my most favourite song:
     
            
     
    Ich hörte diesen Song im Radio und er gefiel mir gleich sehr.
    Dann schauten wir uns nachmittags das Video auf youtube an
    und waren begeistert. Am Abend haben Geli und ich die Ringe
    ausgesucht. So wird uns dieses Lied immer begleiten.
     
    I heard this song on the radio and loved it. Later in the afternoon
    we saw the video at youtube and were excited. In the evening we
    have selected our rings. So this song will be ever a part of our love.
     
     
    Die schönsten Feiern,  the most beautiful celebrations ...
     
    mein Geburtstag, my birthday
     
    Der Geburtstag von Eva, Geli´s Mutter. The birthday of Eva, Geli´s mum
     
     
    Weihnachten, christmas
     
     
     
    Zum Schluss das Unwort des jahres. At the end the badest word of the year:
     
    Kartons, cardboards
     
    Ich habe niemals in meinem Leben so viele Kartons bewegt wie in der 2. Jahreshälfte
    und muss die ztukünftig auch nicht unbedingt wieder tun.Animoticon
     
    I never moved so much boxes as in the second half of this year and must not do this in the future again.Animoticon

    New Year’s Reflections

     

    Looking back on the months gone by,
    As a new year starts and an old one ends,
    We contemplate what brought us joy,
    And we think of our loved ones and our friends.

    Recalling all the happy times,
    Remembering how they enriched our lives
    We reflect upon who really counts,
    As the fresh and bright new year arrives.

    And when I/we ponder those who do,
    I/we immediately think of you.

    Thanks for being one of the reasons I'll/We'll have a Happy New Year!

    Dear friend,
     
    the next weeks will be full of work and private things. So I don´t know exactly if I will find the time to write
    again.
     
     
    For this reason I write today my christmas and new year wishes to you.
     
     
    We wish you a christmas full of love and peace with a lot of time for the people you love.
    If there are some shadows in your life at the moment believe in yourself and your friends
    because every tunnel find his end and there will shine a light again.
     
     
    For the next year we wish you health, a lot of special moments and that you keep the sun in your mind and in your heart.
